PHOTOSTORY 3: Digital Storytelling for Students

Picture
Why would I use Photostory?
- easy for younger students to create a slideshow story from digital pictures using own captions
- can add special effects and your own voice narration
- has preview features to "test" so lots of redos are possible
- import songs from your music library or compose original tunes directly within program

- saves as Windows Media player file so don't need Photostory to play

Things we learned!
- Use headsets to dampen background noise
- Test your volume FIRST
- Have them write out a "script" on Word, PP, or even NoodleTools
- Use transitions carefully
